Felix the Horse needs a home
Curious and clever, Felix is one of the shining ground-game stars of Horse Haven's twice-weekly Parelli demonstrations. This boy loads into a trailer backward and his flashy style always attracts admirers. Felix can hardly let a visitor pass by his pasture without strolling over to say hello. He's a very inquisitive fellow who feels the need to investigate every pocket of every jacket and pair of pants within his reach. However, he's proven himself to be an outstanding student of the Parelli Natural Horsemanship program and responds quickly to any request for personal space. This horse is a charmer, but he does have a special need. An old injury resulted in esophageal scars, so dry food may cause him to choke. He can only eat soaked hay pellets. Felix also has an old hoof injury that periodically causes lameness, but he's sound wearing his corrective shoes and is ready to ride. Felix is skilled at Parelli Liberty and Online ground games and is being retrained under saddle. Felix absolutely excels at Liberty games and would do best with the skills of a Level-4 Parelli student. Potential adopters who are proficient in other natural-horsemanship disciplines are also encouraged to apply for adoption by demonstrating their horse-handling skills.
